Demetrius Lyons

Hello, my name is Demetrius Lyons and I am an artist looking to make a name for myself. I like to think of myself as a squirrel trying to get his nut. Art has been apart of my life since the day I first picked up a pencil. I've started noticing that art will be apart of my future during middle school when of course you have friends that want you to draw them something. Seeing as my work made eyes bulge and heads turn I loved the fact that my work was recognized and furthermore told to make something positive come out of it. My skills started to become honed during high school under the tutelage of my art teacher Mr. Peirara or as I call him Mr. P. Mr. P had me focus on what mediums I had no part in wanting to do until I noticed how it would merge into what mediums I loved doing. My favorite kind of medium is portraits because I love the challenge of the detailing and shading. My second favorite medium are comics; I would also love to start my own comic franchise to be read in the most popular newspapers. As you will see from my pictures that I currently have done the detailing in my work is by sheer patience and I want only the best out of myself.
